China chairs open UNSC debate on global security and stability

China chaired the open UN Security Council debate on international security and stability on August 22. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and the representatives of other countries attended the meeting. The Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations, Zhang Jun, called for global consensus to ensure collective security.
