A female suspect was arrested by police at Atlanta's international airport on Monday, ending an hours-long search after two midtown shootings that left two dead and a third wounded.

The Atlanta Police Department said the victims in both shootings were likely targeted, and officers are investigating the connection, as initial information indicated that the suspect was responsible for both incidents.

Police said the first shooting occurred at an upscale condominium in the Midtown area, in which one victim died and one was injured, while the second shooting happened nearby in a high-rise office building, where the third victim was found.
