CGTN

The United Nations called for an investigation on Monday to establish the complete facts behind the death of 29-year-old Russian journalist and public activist Darya Dugina, who was killed by a car bomb on August 20.

Dugina was the daughter of prominent Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin.

The Russian security service has accused the identified suspect, 43-year-old Ukrainian national Natalya Vovk, of having links to the "Azov" Regiment, though both it and the Ukrainian government have denied any official involvement with the bombing.

Russian President Vladimir Putin posthumously awarded the Order For Courage to Dugina.
