British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Wednesday on Twitter that he visited Kyiv and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Ukraine's Independence Day.

It's Johnson's third known visit to Kyiv since Russia began its "special military operation" on February 24.

The UK will also provide a military package for Ukraine worth 54 million pounds, including 200 drones and loitering munitions, according to the prime minister's office.
