China is donating another batch of emergency humanitarian supplies to Pakistan, including 25,000 tents and other supplies in dire need, following deadly floods, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.

According to reports, flash floods caused by heavy monsoon rains have killed over 700 people and displaced more than 300,000 in Baluchistan, Sindh and other provinces of Pakistan.

China has provided 4,000 tents, 50,000 blankets and other relief aid to the disaster-hit regions after the floods, which claimed more than 700 lives, the spokesperson said in a statement.

China would continue to promote bilateral cooperation in disaster prevention and mitigation against climate change with Pakistan, said the spokesperson.

The spokesperson added that Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi has expressed sympathy to Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over the disaster.
