Japan will further ease COVID-19 border control measures, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said on Wednesday.

Kishida said that starting September 7, travelers who provide three vaccination certificates will no longer need to provide a nucleic acid negative report 72 hours before entering the country, and he will consider relaxing the maximum daily number of people who can enter the country.
