The ninth batch of remains of martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV), who sacrificed their lives during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53), will come home in mid-September.
According to the consensus and work plan reached between China and South Korea, a ceremony will be held on September 15 in South Korea's Incheon for the remains of the Chinese soldiers returned to the homeland.
On the next day, a handover ceremony will be held at Incheon International Airport in South Korea before the remains are flown to Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province on the same day, where a welcome home ceremony will also be held at Taoxian international airport.
Remains of the fallen heroes will be buried on September 17 at CPV martyrs' cemetery in Shenyang.
