At least two people are still trapped after a three-story building under reconstruction in a suburb of Abuja, the Nigerian capital, collapsed, local media Premium Times reported.
Premium Times said five victims have been rescued so far and one of them is injured severely.
Other local media also reported the incident and said an unknown number of people are trapped under the rubble and rescuers are on the job.
The building, approved as a shopping mall by the authorities, is currently being converted into a residence by its owner, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps said.
