Vibrant and tranquil, Beihai Park poses as a living museum of ancient trees that have weathered a thousand years. Located in central Beijing, the park was initially a natural pond before it became an imperial garden during the Jin Dynasty, some 840 years ago, and underwent a continuous transformation in the following four dynasties to become what it is today.
