Tyndall Effect sunset seen in central China
CGTN
00:27

The sky over Yongzhou City in central China's Hunan Province served up a sunset displaying the Tyndall effect at around 7 p.m. on August 25. The Tyndall effect is the scattering of light as a light beam passes through a colloid cloud. When the clouds are thick, and fog and dust fill the air, the sun pierces through and dispenses anticrepuscular rays.
