Kazakhstan will suspend the export of weapons, military equipment and products for military purposes for a year until the end of August 2023, the official information source of the prime minister of Kazakhstan said in a statement on Saturday.

It said the export ban proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development was approved by a commission meeting on Saturday held by PM Alikhan Smailov.
