Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif delivered relief supplies to flood victims in Sindh Province on August 27. The prime minister also inspected the damage across the province and met with displaced residents at a relief camp. At least 1,000 people have died due to floods caused by heavy monsoon rains. The government estimated that more than four million people have been affected by the rising waters, as thousands continue mandatory evacuations in northern Pakistan.
