CGTN's think tank, together with the Institute of Public Opinion of Renmin University of China, conducted an opinion poll on the anniversary of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan among over 3,600 people in 24 countries around the world, including Afghanistan. The survey focused on changes brought by the presence of U.S. troops in Afghanistan and the country's future reconstruction. According to the poll, nearly four in five people in Afghanistan believe the U.S. war against their country did not achieve its goal and was a "complete failure."
