Helicopter rescues man from raging river in Pakistan

A man stranded in a raging river in Pakistan was rescued by an army helicopter on August 28. Footage shows how the crew lowered a rope to the man as he clung onto some rocks. Eventually, the rescuers managed to winch him up into the air, away from the powerful torrent. The incident was caught on camera in Lower Kohistan in the northeast of the country. The area has been hit hard by deadly floods caused by heavy monsoon rains.
