The United Nations-chartered ship Brave Commander arrived in the Port of Djibouti on Tuesday, according to data showed on Marine Traffic.
"Very happy to receive the Brave Commander in Djibouti, coming to the Horn of Africa from Ukraine," Jose Barahona, the United Nations resident coordinator in Djibouti, later confirmed in a tweet.
The ship, carrying the first cargo of humanitarian food aid bound for Africa from Ukraine since Russia began its "special military operation" in February, left the Ukrainian port of Pivdennyi on August 16 and is destined for Ethiopia.
