A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, U.S., on Tuesday at 10:40 p.m. local time, sending 46 of the company's Starlink internet satellites to orbit.

Around 8.5 minutes after launch, the rocket's first stage returned for a precise landing on the SpaceX robotic droneship "Of Course I Still Love You" stationed in the Pacific Ocean, while its upper stage continued flying to low Earth orbit and deployed 46 Starlink satellites one hour afterward.

It was the seventh launch and landing for this Falcon 9 first stage, according to the company's description.

The company has launched more than 3,000 satellites for its giant satellite internet constellation Starlink.
