Israel launched missile attacks on targets in Syria on Wednesday night, causing material damage to the international airport in the northern city of Aleppo and military sites near the capital Damascus, the Syrian military said in a statement.
Local news reported that the Israeli missiles that hit Aleppo's airport came from over the Mediterranean Sea, and about an hour later, the military said that the missiles that hit the military sites near Damascus were fired over Sea of Galilee in northern Israel.
