Japanese Yen falls to 24-year low against U.S. dollar

The Japanese yen fell to a 24-year low of 140 against the U.S. dollar on Thursday due to the growing prospect of sharp interest rate hikes by the U.S. Federal Reserve to tame inflation, NHK reported.
