The Russia-controlled Zaporizhzhia power plant is still being operated by Ukrainian staff. The largest nuclear power plant in Europe is also among the ten largest in the world. The total capacity of the plant is about 6,000 megawatts, which can support about four million households. It is located some 550 kilometers southeast of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, and it is about 200 kilometers from Crimea.
