Czech government survives no-confidence vote over energy prices

The Czech government survived a no-confidence vote on Friday after a 22-hour debate in parliament amid opposition claims of inaction against soaring inflation and energy prices.

Lawmakers from the five-party coalition, who have a majority in the parliament's lower house, defeated the motion, with only 84 lawmakers in the 200-seat house supporting it.
