The death toll from the recent heavy rains and ensuing floods in Sudan has climbed to 105, Sudan News Agency reported on Friday, citing the country's National Council for Civil Defense.

A total of 34,328 homes were destroyed and 46,428 others damaged in the affected areas, according to a council statement.
