At least 8 migrants die in 'hazardous' Rio Grande crossing

At least eight migrants died among dozens attempting a "hazardous crossing" of the Rio Grande River on the border between Mexico and the southern U.S. state of Texas, the AP reported on Friday.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection responded to a "large crossing", according to the report, which noted that U.S. officials recovered six bodies, while the Mexican side located two others.
