Eight Colombian police killed in explosives attack

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has revealed that eight police officers were killed on Friday in the rural southwestern Huila Department in an attack with explosives.

"I strongly reject the attack," Petro declared via Twitter, while offering his "solidarity with their families."
