The China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) has become an important platform for China to promote global cooperation and economic growth. The 2022 CIFTIS, themed "cooperate for better development, innovate for a green future" is being held in China National Convention Center and Shougang Park from August 31 to September 5. Environmental services, as a new service exhibition, have aroused extensive attention worldwide. It will show new energy saving technologies and green low-carbon industries developments.
Nowadays China's green low-carbon industry is beginning to take shape. Taking energy saving industry for example, the output value has reached 7.5 trillion yuan by the end of 2020. And the sale volume of new energy vehicles achieves 5.5 million, ranking first in the world for many years. The global market share of solar module has come up to 71 percent.
The goal of carbon dioxide emissions peak and carbon neutrality gives a new mission and brings new opportunities to the green low-carbon industry development. But there is still a long way to build a green low-carbon industrial system.
Firstly, to build green energy supply system for industries is the key to promote green low-carbon industrial system. Considering energy plays a central role in green low-carbon industry development, the proportion of fossil energy use should be gradually reduced. And it is of great value to increase the proportion of green hydrogen, renewable electricity (solar energy, wind power, etc.) and other green energy use.
Secondly, to promote green low-carbon technology, equipment and management innovation are the main driving forces of green low-carbon industry development. On the one hand, the authorities should boost investment in research and development of energy-saving technologies, as well as mobilize resources to tackle key technological challenges. On the other hand, the enterprises should improve the level of specialized technical equipment to promote green low-carbon industry development.
Thirdly, to enhance the deep recycling of resources and strengthen the management of downstream of industry chain is beneficial to tap potentiality and increase efficiency for green low-carbon industry. It is also crucial to strengthen the coordination between different industries in a cluster way to reduce the carbon emission in the whole life cycle of the industry.

Lastly, to develop the public services system and cultivate green low-carbon industrial ecosystem, an effective guarantee measure is required. The green low-carbon industry development starts with energy and raw materials, ends with recycling and recycling development, and the intermediate elements are structure optimization and technology empowerment. Considering the green low-carbon industry consists of technology, talents, information, policy, funds, various subjects such as the government, enterprises, professional service agencies, industry associations, research institutes and others need deep cooperation. Thus, it is necessary to construct a public service system and relevant platform carrier, which will greatly contribute to creating ecological, optimization for green low carbon industry development environment.
Industry is an important field of carbon emission. Promoting the green and low-carbon development of the industry is of great significance to achieve the goal of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Based on the national conditions of China's manufacturing countries, to achieve the goal of carbon peak before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060, the key is to form a green and low-carbon modern industrial system as soon as possible, and to coordinate the double carbon goals in the goal system of high-quality development.
At present, the State Council has released a guideline to accelerate the development of a green low-carbon circular economic development system. The guideline urges efforts to firmly implement the new development philosophy, boost efficiency in the use of resources, strengthen protection of the ecological environment, and effectively control greenhouse gas emissions. And local governments such as Shanghai government have mapped out new frontiers for future development. By 2025, Shanghai will have green and low-carbon industries worth 500 billion yuan.
Just as Chinese Premier Li Keqiang pointed out on August 27, as the world's largest developing country, China chose to realize its modernization via low-carbon and green development efforts, which is unprecedented in the history of humanity, and can only be achieved with arduous efforts.
