Gazprom indefinitely halts gas supplies via Nord Stream 1

Russian energy giant Gazprom has announced it will indefinitely halt gas supplies to Germany through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline over technical problems. The European Union has accused Gazprom of stopping gas flow on false pretenses.
