The world of insects, especially in a hustling and bustling city, can be often overlooked by most of the city dwellers. With the expanding of the urban area, the scenes of bug clouds hanging in the middle of the air in open space has become distant. But there are still many insects that managed to find their way settling in the city. Below are just small fractions of the over 250 species of insects that have been observed over the past two months by Wang Xiaobo who is also an experienced bird-watcher in the dense bush around a pond in his residential community in Beijing.
