The 2022 China cybersecurity week, a nationwide campaign to enhance public awareness of cybersecurity, started on Monday.
Its major events, including the opening ceremony and a summit on cybersecurity, were held in Hefei City, east China's Anhui Province. Themed "Cybersecurity for the People and by the People," it will run through September 11.
It was jointly launched by 10 departments, including the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Public Security.
The campaign will focus on automotive data security, artificial intelligence, personal information protection, cybersecurity standards and industrial equipment development.
Other related events will also be organized in communities, campuses, villages and enterprises to help raise people's awareness of cybersecurity.

As a part of the campaign, this year's cybersecurity exhibition began in the city on Sunday afternoon. Around 60 cybersecurity and internet enterprises participated in the exhibition, featuring China's achievements in the independent innovation of key core technology in cybersecurity and traditional industries' experience adopting cybersecurity.
China initiated its first cybersecurity week in 2014.
