The 21st batch of Chinese peacekeepers to Lebanon recently removed and detonated the first landmine since their mine-sweeping operations began along the Blue Line, a border demarcation between Lebanon and Israel published by the United Nations in 2000. The peacekeepers began their mission in Lebanon in August.
