China on Tuesday urged the United States to revoke a planned arms sale worth $1.1 billion to China's Taiwan region and immediately stop arms sales to Taiwan and cease military contacts with the island.
Tan Kefei, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, made the remarks in response to a press inquiry regarding the issue.
