On the morning of September 6, Hinnamnor, the eleventh typhoon of 2022, made landfall on the southeast coast of South Korea before entering the Sea of Japan. It lashed the peninsula with torrential rain and gales. The latest satellite images indicate that Hinnamnor's cloud structure and the Northeast China Cold Vortex have merged. Together, they will bring heavy rain to the northeast of Heilongjiang Province, China.
