A magnitude-6.8 earthquake jolted Luding County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, at 12:52 p.m. on Monday. Rescue efforts are underway as a result of the reopening of the road from Shimian county center to Xinmin Town in southwest China's Sichuan Province, and all the heavy equipments are transported with helicopters.
