Report: 50% Britons disappointed at Truss being new PM

A survey by UK polling agency YouGov shows about 50% of respondents say they are disappointed that Liz Truss is to be the next UK prime minister. 33% are "very disappointed". Only 22% say they are fairly or very pleased. The poll also found 74% of respondents thought the Conservative Party was split. Bridging that divide will also be a challenge for Truss.
