More than 200 people are still trapped at the Hailuogou Scenic Spot, a glacier and forest nature reserve, after a magnitude-6.8 earthquake hit Luding County, southwest China's Sichuan Province. The quake toppled buildings, and rescue teams had to enter the disaster area on foot as transportation services came to a halt.

CGTN Stringer Zhang Xi explains how the supplies are distributed to the local people, including those stranded at the Hailuogou Scenic Spot. Currently, the supplies are plenty, with water and instant noodles being provided for free. A simple amusement camp has also been set up for the children.
