The Mid-Autumn Festival, the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, which falls on September 10 this year, is one of China's biggest holidays when families gather to sample autumn harvests, eat mooncakes, light lanterns and admire what's believed to be the fullest Moon of the year. It is also a popular observance in many other Asian countries. As our planet's lunar companion, the Moon holds huge scientific and cultural significance. In this episode of the "Chat Room", we invite guests from Germany, Pakistan, Vietnam, and a Chinese living in Thailand via extended reality (XR) technology to immerse in the festival vibe and appreciate the Moon.
