The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) said on Tuesday that it will significantly expand the number of distribution locations for monkeypox vaccines and treatments through a new $20 million contract with AmerisourceBergen Corp.
More than 20,000 monkeypox cases have been confirmed in the U.S. as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
