Death toll rises to 86 after powerful earthquake in China's Sichuan

As of 12:00 p.m. Thursday, a total of 86 people have been killed in a magnitude-6.8 earthquake that jolted Luding County, southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Monday, said local authorities.

Fifty people were killed in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and the other 36 died in Ya'an City.
