The eight-day "Vostok (East) 2022" military exercises wrapped up in Russia on Wednesday. The closing ceremony of the exercises was held at the Sergeevsky training ground in Ussuriysk City of the Primorsky Krai. More than 50,000 troops and 5,000 pieces of weaponry and equipment participated. The Chinese People's Liberation Army's Northern Theater Command dispatched some 2,000 troops, over 300 military vehicles, 21 fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters and 3 warships to the exercise. Forty Chinese officers and soldiers were rewarded with commemorative medals.
