Elizabeth II became queen as the UK was recovering from World War II. During her 70-year reign, the kingdom went through various challenges: the transformation of the Commonwealth, the acceleration of decolonization, Euro-scepticism and Brexit, and the COVID-19 pandemic, to name a few. We spoke to Song Xin, a former policy adviser at the European Parliament, who shared her thoughts on the Queen's legacy.
