Deadly floods in Pakistan have left nearly 1,400 people dead since mid-June, when unusually heavy monsoon rains and glacial melt triggered widespread flooding. Water from Pakistan's largest lake, Manchar, has submerged hundreds of villages in the southern part of Sindh province as authorities are trying to protect the population affected. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said he will appeal for massive support during his visit to Pakistan. Danial Khan reports from Islamabad.
