Ukraine's GDP expected to contract by a third in 2022

Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to contract by approximately 30-35 percent in 2022 as a result of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. An initial estimate predicted a 45 percent decline, according to a joint report by the World Bank, Ukraine and the European Commission.
