This documentary is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the diplomatic relationship between China and Cambodia. It recounts the true stories about building the "China-Cambodia Community of a Shared future" and records the China-Cambodia cooperation in the fields of heritage preservation, environmental protection and the implementation of eco-development concept, while being committed to the poverty alleviation based on economic development. With diversified interpretation, the documentary features the on-going friendly collaboration of China and Cambodia in the new era and presents a multi-dimensional image of Cambodia, incorporating history, modernity, vigor and peace, from Angkor Wat to the vast rice field, from the peaceful island on the Mekong River to the busy coastal special zone, from the power station rising deep in the mountain to the new city standing on the sea shore. On this emerging hot land of Southeast Asia, the "image of China" has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. As Heng Hay, one of the characters of the documentary, has said, "The Belt and Road Initiative means Cambodia will have what China has now."
