3 killed, 40 injured after mine dam collapses in South Africa

A mine dam wall collapse in South Africa's Free State province swept away houses and cars on Sunday, the provincial government said.

Three bodies have been recovered, while 40 injured people have been taken to hospitals for treatment.

Free State emergency services are evacuating scores of residents from the area.
