UAE, Serbia sign strategic partnership agreement

President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday met with his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic at the Qasr Al Watan palace in Abu Dhabi, the Emirates News Agency reported.

The two leaders explored UAE-Serbia cooperation in investment, economic and trade fields, as well as in science, technology, food security, agriculture, renewable energy, and space, among others.

"I was pleased to meet with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, for the signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between our two countries, which builds upon our strong bilateral ties and promises to enhance cooperation at all levels in the future," Sheikh Mohamed later said in a tweet.
