06:52

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time when family members and friends living apart come together and reunite. In addition to a big banquet, people in ancient China would also play poetry games, enjoy colorful lantern decorations and observe the moon at its fullest and brightest phase during the year. The Vibe host Julian Waghann recently joined a popular hanfu, Han clothing,  enthusiasts' group at the Beijing Garden Expo to reenact some of these traditional customs. Watch how this festive occasion was celebrated during the late Ming Dynasty some 400 years ago.
