Critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine's Kharkiv were put out of action due to the shelling in the city, resulting in a power cut and water supply cutoff, local mayor Ihor Terekhov revealed in a Telegram post on Monday.
He added that local authorities are working to solve this problem.
Kharkiv region's governor Oleh Sinegubov earlier said the Russian military had launched a missile strike on the city of Kharkiv, killing at least one person and injuring four.
There has been no response from the Russian side.
