Giovana, a teacher from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, had no knowledge of Chinese culture at all, but after getting invited to a Mid-Autumn Festival party by a Chinese friend, she began to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture. Now, celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with friends has become something she enjoys. This year, she also hopes to learn how to make mooncakes by herself.
