China launches the Zhongxing-1E satellite from Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site, September 13, 2022. /China Media Group
China launched a new satellite, Zhongxing-1E, aboard a Long March-7A carrier rocket from Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in south China's Hainan Province at 9:18 p.m. Beijing Time on Tuesday.
The satellite, which will provide users with high-quality voice, data, radio and television transmission services, successfully entered its pre-set orbit.
It marked the 437th launch for the Long March carrier rocket series.
