China's tourism sector has not only been seeing steady growth during the last few months, but also witnessing new trends such as bed and breakfast tourism. According to the 2022 Mid-Autumn travel report released by Tujia Online Information Technology, the number of rural home-stays rose 70 percent on a yearly basis during the three-day holiday. The rising demand for short-stay trips has also given rise to new professions such as B&B housekeepers.
