Muifa, the 12th typhoon of 2022, is approaching China. The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has provided us a different view of Muifa – this time from space!
According to the CMA, Muifa will likely make landfall on the evening of September 14 between the cities of Wenling and Zhoushan in east China's Zhejiang Province as a typhoon or severe typhoon. Typhoons are active in autumn.
In addition to Muifa, the Northwest Pacific Ocean is eyeing Merbok, the 13th typhoon, and a tropical disturbance that may intensify into the 14th typhoon of the year before it approaches China.
