3 killed after Israeli, Palestinian forces exchange fire in West Bank

Two Palestinians were killed on Wednesday by Israeli forces in the north of Jenin in the West Bank, Palestinian WAFA news agency reported.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they detected "suspicious movement" and returned fire at Palestinians, and an IDF officer was killed in the fire exchange, according to Israel's Ynet news site.
